Open Premiere Pro and create a new project.

Import your footage into Premiere Pro and add to your Timeline

Now you can import your video into Premiere Pro. Do this using our favoured “Drag and Drop” method. 

Find the files you wish to import into Premiere Pro and drag them into the Project Panel. Once in the Project Panel, you can now drag your files onto the Timeline ready to rotate.

Select the video in the Timeline and Rotate

Now your video is successfully in your Timeline in Premiere Pro, you’re ready to rotate! 

To rotate your video, simply go to the Effect tab and click the Motion button.

Are you looking to just flip your video in Premiere Pro? Here’s how you can flip your video in seconds. 

Simply go to your Project Panel and go to the Effects tab. Now click on “Distort” and click on “Transform” from the dropdown.

Now untick the Uniform Scale box, and change the number beside Scale Width or Scale Height to -100. 

This will either flip your video horizontally or vertically, depending on the original shot. That’s it, as easy as that to flip your video in Premiere Pro.
